Kirtan means “to praise that which is exalted.” It can also mean “to cut through”— so Kirtan can become a practice of cutting through the idea of separation and returning to the heart through song/sound.
Kriya, which translates as “union through action,” and refers to specific yogic techniques that combine breath, posture, and focused awareness. These practices help clear the mind, energize the body, and prepare for deeper meditation. All levels welcome.
