Samāpatti: Embodying the Journey

Samapatti (समापत्ति) — “Absorption” “integration” “Union”.

In the Yoga Sūtras, Samapatti refers to the deep states of meditative absorption where the mind becomes so still and clear that it reflects the object of focus perfectly, like a mirror.

Samapatti is not a final destination, but rather a natural unfolding that arises from sustained practice (sādhana). It can be felt in movement and stillness - a deeply felt connection to the seemingly unnamable, but knowable force that animates all sentient beings.

As we conclude this portion of the course on The Subtle Body you might ask yourself: What has shifted? What will I carry forward? What remains the same? How can I develop a daily Sadhana to support my connection to my Subtle Body?

Allow the awareness you’ve cultivated to guide you beyond your Sadhana —into your relationships, your choices, and your presence in the world.

And no matter what your findings are, may you continue to be receptive to the currents of your own prāṇa, hear the voice of inner knowing clearly, and be open to quiet unfolding of your highest self, wherever you are called to go.
